The new cabinet for Southend Council has been announced and see's the new face of West Shoebury ward councillor Tony Cox added to the team.
Cllr Cox will take on the role of Public Protection and Waste whilst fellow West Shoebury councillor Derek Jarvis retains the protfolio of Culture.
It was also good news for Shoebury as Cllr Roger Hadley from Shoeburyness ward also retains the Education portfolio.
Further senior positions allocated be added soon.
