Shoebury residents have helped the borough's recycling rate rise from 34% to 40%. This rising rates show that Shoebury residents are recycling nearly half of their hosehold waste - diverting more than 30,000 tonnes from landfill sites.
The recent increase is thanks to Shoebury residents making the most of the latest recycling developemnts which include:
