At 18:00 on Wednesday 24th June Shoebury Conservatives were made aware that travellers had forced their way onto Gunner's Park. A call made to the Chief Executive of Southend Council to start the process of evicting the travellers.
At 22:00 Shoebury Conservatives were made aware that another group of travellers had made their way onto Gunner's Park at the Campfield Road entrance. The chief executive was immediately informed to start the eviction process.
