An extra special Community Sports Festival takes place on Sunday 14th June, offering the chance to try a whole range of different sports.
The exciting free event, from 10am till 4pm at Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre, Garon Park, Southend, is open to able bodied or disabled participants, and all the sessions are run by qualified coaches.
This activesouthend Community Sports Festival features separate sessions, all 45 minutes long, which start in the morning at 10am, 11am and 12 noon and in the afternoon at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm
Southend-on-Sea Borough Councils Executive Councillor for Culture, Councillor Derek Jarvis said:
This is a tremendous free opportunity which is supported by Southends Legacy 2012 - to have a go at all kinds of different sports. I hope as many people as possible will come along.
